KHI’s mission is built on four interconnected pillars, creating a continuum of kidney care—from preventing kidney disease to providing advanced treatment and ensuring that no patient is left behind because of financial constraints.
We believe prevention begins with awareness. Through initiatives such as Zero Dialysis Thamilagam and National Organ Donation Day campaigns, KHI takes kidney health and organ donation messages to the community.
Better kidney care needs a better-informed healthcare ecosystem. KHI conducts medical education and CMEs for support staff, while also extending financial support to underprivileged patients who need help accessing care.
Transplantation can transform lives. Through programmes such as aART and KiTES, KHI supports adult and paediatric kidney transplantation, including free or subsidised transplants for patients who otherwise may not be able to afford them.
Kidney care does not end with a diagnosis or transplant. Through free consultations, subsidised medicines and investigations, KHI provides a lifeline to patients who struggle with the ongoing costs of kidney disease.
Four Pillars. One Mission.
Awareness. Education. Transplants. Lifeline.
Together, they represent KHI’s vision of accessible, affordable and compassionate kidney care for everyone.
