Early Detection = Kidney Protection

On World Diabetes Day 2025, our KHI team joined hands with Rotary Club – Madras Miracles & Head Post Office, Mount Road to conduct an advanced Diabetes and Kidney screening for their employees. More than 80 staff members participated — a strong reminder that workplace health initiatives truly matter.

We screened for:
🔹 Spot Urine ACR (Albumin–Creatinine Ratio) — the earliest marker of diabetic kidney disease
🔹 Spot HbA1c — for long-term diabetes control
🔹 Blood Pressure & Obesity Assessment
🔹 Kidney tests (Creatinine & Urea)

Why we focus on early detection?

Diabetes doesn’t shout – It whispers quietly as it damages the kidneys, eyes, nerves, heart.

A simple urine ACR test can detect problems years before kidney problem rises.

This one test can dramatically reduce the risk of dialysis if acted upon early.
