From Learning to Leading: The Movement continues

KHI was proud to partner with UNESCO India & PWN+ (Positive Women Network) for the “National Leadership & Capacity Building Workshop for Adolescent Girls and Young Women Living with HIV” held in Chennai.

Chennai | 4 Days | 50+ Girls | 10+ States

This powerful program empowered young women living with HIV to become peer leaders and health advocates in their own communities.

Our heartfelt thanks to Jadav Sarita, National Programme Director at UNESCO India, for pioneering this initiative, and to PWN+ and its visionary President Ms. Kausalya Periasamy, for envisioning and leading this transformative journey.

And now, the journey continues: These trained leaders will return to their home states to train more young women, collaborate with government and non-government agencies, and build stronger, stigma-free communities.

KHI was honoured to recognize the participants and Stella Maris College (Autonomous) for their outstanding support and involvement. This is not just a workshop, but a movement.
